Only 4 more days left in 2016… This year went by too quickly and although some might say it was a stinker, Id have to say otherwise. 2016 was a big year, filled with so many great memories, exciting experiences and new friendships. I’ve been taking some time to relax, spend time with loved ones and reflect on the year. It was difficult to narrow it down to only 5 best moments of 2016, but I think I did well.
five // Island Getaway
Three days away from home, in the middle of the busiest season in the retail world was just what I needed. I spent my first day exploring and shopping around the city on my own, it was so beautiful and relaxing. Although that moment was great, I’d have to say the best moment of the trip was staying in the hotel and laying in bed all day watching HGTV and the Food Network. For those of you who don’t know, I don’t have cable and oh boy do I miss those channels. So simple, but easily one of the best moments of 2016.
four // Bridal Shower
Most definitely one of the sweetest days of the year. My mum and aunt threw me the most beautiful bridal shower ever. Close friends and family were in attendance, making the day that much more special.
three // Rollercoaster Rides
Okay… First things first, I can’t say this was the greatest moment of 2016, actually to be honest it was the absolute most horrible experience of 2016. I hate roller coasters. HATE. The feeling of my stomach dropping and being violently thrown around is not what I call a good time, however I cannot get this moment out of my head. I will NEVER do it again, but it made for a good photo. (You can literally see the anger in my face for being pulled onto that death trap).
two // Bachelorette
I’m not a party animal, I’m a stuffed animal who likes to lay on the couch or bed just chillin, and luckily my friends knew that about me. We had a simple, fun get together at the nearest disco bowling alley and we had an absolute blast. The perfect bachelorette!
one // Mr & Mrs
I caught me a husband! This was by far the BEST moment of 2016! Not only did I get to marry the love of my life, but it was the absolute most beautiful and perfect day ever. I could go on and on and onnnnnnnn about all the perfect moments throughout the day, but #1 would definitely have to be our first kiss as hubby and wifey. 2016 was a great year!
bonus // The Blonde Coast
Starting this blog was one of the best decisions I made all year. I fell absolutely in love with blogging and sharing my life with all my lovely readers. I am so excited for what 2017 has to offer and I cannot wait to see The Blonde Coast grow. Thank you all for being so loyal and loving.
As always, thanks for reading!
