I am a cookie monster, I love cookies, they are the perfect little sweet snack and I have been known to eat more than I should. However, I know I am not the only one who craves chocolate and sweet desserts during a specific time of the month, therefore I thought I’d share my go-to Chocolate Cookie recipe. It takes the right amount of chocolate and sugar to cure those symptoms and instantly lift your mood, these are perfect.
1 cup Butter
1 1/2 cups Super Fine Sugar
1 ¾ cups Flour
1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 large bar of Milk Chocolate (I use Cadbury)
1 large bar of White Chocolate (I use Lindt)
1 large bar of Dark Chocolate (Again, Cadbury)
Preheat over to 375°. Creme together butter and sugar, add egg. Mix dry ingredients and add to wet mixture. Break chocolate bars into small pieces and add to the dough, mix with hands. Drop 1.5″ balls onto parchment lined baking sheet and slightly flatten. Bake for 11 minutes. Makes roughly 18 cookies.
